The
Women’s Centre was established in April 2006 to provide an
alternative way for women (and their families) to network,
socialize, build and embrace diversity, in a women-positive space.
The
center aims to:
(i)
develop
information and educational resources that enhances women’s
learning and skill building, and promotes social changes.
(ii) advocate
for women to access systems such as education, employment
opportunities, legal rights, family health and environment,
housing and childcare etc.
(iii) provide
women and their families a friendly and supportive space and
offer a referral service.
